2012 Jr. High Exchange Program from Asahikawa, Japan

• Students will arrive on Saturday Afternoon, March 24 and will return to Chicago on Monday morning, Apil 2
• The Sister City Committee will keep the students busy during the week from 8 to 4. There will be a Welcome dinner and a farwell dinner. Host famlies keep the students busy the rest of the time.

2012 High School Exchange Program Information to Asahikawa, Japan

Two well-qualified Senior High School students will be sent to Asahikawa as our goodwill ambassadors from Bloomington and Normal. Our scholarship award includes transportation to and from Japan, living costs, high school tuition and fees, and a monthly stipend.

Informational Meeting

• Sunday, February 19, 2:00 to 3:30pm
• Normal Public Library, Lower Level Community Room
• Please park in the College Avenue Parking Deck. Parking in the deck is free to library users.

Application Deadline

• Monday, March 12, 5:00 pm

Interviews

• Monday, March 19, 30-45 minutes, scheduled between 5:00 and 8:45pm

• Approximate Cost: $2500
• March 1, 2012 Application and first payment of $600 due
• April 1, 2012 second payment of $600 due
• May 14, 2012 balance due
